Welcome

by Ianina Mamma

Hello Rosetowners and welcome to the August newsletter.

It has been a breakthrough month in the node that's writing to you now. I followed my partner's instincts on where to explore while we spent 4 sunny days in Wales with our children in August, following Lion's Gate.
One day his leanings led us to a wonderful place in North Wales called Portmeirion (Welsh name Aber Ia).
It was used as a location in an iconic UK TV series called The Prisoner in the late 1960's. Here's a short script sample:

"Number Two: Good people, it is my pleasure to present to you the one and only Number Six!
Crowd: Rah!
Number Six: I am not a number. I am a person.
[Crowd laughs]
Number Six: In some place, at some time, all of you held positions of a secret nature, and had knowledge that was invaluable to an enemy. Like me, you are here to have that knowledge protected or extracted.
Number Two: That's the stuff to give them.
Number Six: Unlike me, many of you have accepted the situation of your imprisonment and will die here like rotten cabbages.
Number Two: Keep going. They love it.
Number Six: The rest of you have gone over to the side of our keepers. Which is which? How many of each? Who's standing beside you now? I intend to discover who are the prisoners and who are the warders. I shall be running for office in this election."

How fitting to explorations this month. I once used the phrase "I am not a number" in an office setting, knowing of it but having never seen the show. Maybe it is time.
Amusing as well, as I discover more about sacred geometry and come to a deeper realisation of how the universe is dripping in number.

I present to you a few of the pictures from our visit to Portmeirion and a clip from "Words under the Bridge", to give you some idea of intentions...

How fiery and magical has it been since the last Full Moon for you? Lets see...

With Love,

Towers, Beaches and

Wee Beasties

By Merde Moth

This lunar cycle, I have mostly been conquering towers and claiming beaches. We have had glorious weather in Scotland, recently, which has brought out some interesting creatures.

Met a guy down the beach who had been playing guitar to the sea for over 8 hours. When we looked across, we could see a pod of dolphins dancing. I asked him if he was conjuring them with his music. No. He was just killing time, waiting for the tide to go out, so he could retrieve the glasses he lost whilst out paddle boarding earlier that mooring.

Oh yeah. I also took the moon. Winky face emoji.

My updated sigil movie:

Shit Moth, AKA Merde Moth, AKA Beavemaster, AKA Sarah, is the founder of Mothwerks Productions. A school technician, artist, graphic and set designer, movie maker, photographer, dog walker and stripper extraordinaire. Arrrr. x

Ark of Arcs

By Exertus de Juno

There was a strong wave to ride in July. It’s deepest depths brought me to an even closer tuning in. By the start of August the world around had begun to play and dance a merry tune in the bright sunlight.

Out of that ongoing experience of connection, came a sudden obsession. I must paint circles. And I might look to find a healing combination of colour along the way.

These are paintings borne from July’s fire.

A little sense of this journey into circles...

Sun circles. Moon circles.

By the end of my foray, my obsession held meaning. It had led me to better understand the male/female/masculine/feminine dynamic on this road we travel and shown me a way to ancestral gold. Who could want more from a shape. Thank you Circle.

Let the wormholes reign! ;-)
